Welcome to my first ever monthly challenge, I hope lots of you play along!

With Christmas fast approaching (52 days & counting!!!) the theme for the challenge is Christmas but this is not your ordinary scrap a photo of your kids sitting on Santa's lap kind of challenge.......mostly because I'm all up to date with mine but I also wanted to go with something (hopefully) a little bit different

I've been looking through some photos of me as a little girl & there are so few photos which is a little sad but it got me thinking to set this challenge to scrap a Christmas past from our own childhoods or growing up.

No particular year or anything specific like that but you must include the chosen year in the title & also include some kind of information about Christmas that year in the journaling, whether it's something you recall from memory or something you "google" like what toys were the "must haves" or something that made the news that particular Christmas Day.

Upload your entry into the "Design Team Monthly Challenges Gallery" by midnight on the 30th November 2009 to be in the running for some great prizes.

Great challenge idea Susanne! I have some old slides from babyhood that neither mum or I have scrapped, hopefully there is something in there I can play with!!

And I have some lovely new/divine/scrumptious christmas papers here to use...YAY!!!

this is a great challenge, we will be in our new house before the end of November, so I will try and get this one done, sounds like fun.

Hmmm...this may be a challenge as I have a hard time getting old photo that mum hasn't stuck in those god aweful sticky albums...or chopped up ...lol...but will give this a go

Oh crap I've nearly forgotten ... was only thinking about this the other day, wondering which photo to use then I got distracted and forgot so will have to try and squeeze it in when I get back from my w/end in Canberra.
